FCC LogoPenalty Fare Appeal Support was passed an internal briefing document on Friday, which suggests that FCC Thameslink season ticket holders will be receiving a ‘flexible ticket equivalent to 5 days free travel’.
This is, as the document states, ‘over and above the current delay repay scheme, which has been amended to allow claims against the original timetable’.

Furthermore the document stated, that this ‘flexible ticket’ offer would be communicated in the new year and further details would be available then.

PFAS believes that this has been rushed through due to the huge public backlash that FCC recently received on its on-line forum. Most of the questions referred to the Thameslink issues and the lack of communication.

As soon as we receive more information about this ticket we will let you know.

  • Rick says:

So 5 days free travel… Based on a 3 month ticket and loosely calling 5 days week – that’s worth about £30? Disgraceful.

  • Mark Wellesley-Wood says:

For my sins I am a Season Ticket Holder.
I should think we should all be in for some compensation as Thameslink has hardly been providing any scheduled train services since November.
And thats without the dirty and overcrowded trains.
Why has Thameslink got the worst rolling stock on the whole rail network?
    And Angry Commuter.
